Nor entertain a flame lacking flamboyance

Your Ego’s bruised whilst mine boosted

I refuse to be in the receive hand of resentment
Nor wondering what “I do wrong”

Thankfully there – is an easy way out: walking away
Before Lust take over your pride
and your Ego suffers pain hard to recover from.
